Windows 10/Office 2016 Update

Computer

Information Technology Services (ITS) is in the process of upgrading academic and classroom computers to MS Windows 10 with Office 2016 for fall semester.  The current Windows 7 and Office 2013 image will continue to be available on academic computers through the end of summer semester (August 7, 2016).  Computers with Windows 10 and Office 2016 are now available for testing in the Learning Commons at multiple campuses, and in VDI.

Your testing and feedback is needed to ensure we include the software and functionality needed for fall semester.  Please visit: ITS Service Catalog page on the Windows 10 upgrade for more detail.

Please keep the Windows 10 and Office 2016 upgrade in mind for any FALL book orders, or upcoming software purchases.  It is possible software may require an upgrade to work with Windows 10. Please check your software versions for compatibility, if applicable.

Upgrades of administrative systems to Windows 10 and Office 2016 will begin in summer, and continue through fall and spring.  The schedule will be forthcoming.  email windows10upgrade@tri-c.edu if you wish to be an early adopter!
