2018 Adjunct Faculty Conference
Saturday, March 3 at the Western Campus

This year’s annual Adjunct Faculty Conference, held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Western Campus, was attended by almost 250 adjuncts, staff, and full-time faculty! Keynote speaker, Dr. Karen Miller, Provost and Executive Vice President of Access, Learning & Success discussed current college initiatives – including the review and revision of the college’s strategic plan – and the important role that adjuncts play in achieving college goals. A moderated Q & A session followed featuring Dr. Miller and the campus presidents. Breakout sessions, lunch, and a Nine Pathways counterparts meeting rounded out the day.

8:30 a.m. – Opening Remarks
8:45 a.m. – College Welcome and Presidential Remarks
8:55 a.m. – Keynote Address
9:30 a.m. – Campus Presidents Panel
10:00 – 10:15 a.m. – Break
10:30 – 11:10 a.m. – Breakout Session One
11:20 – 12:00 p.m. – Breakout Session Two
12:00 – 12:45 p.m. – Lunch, Poster Session, and ATC Open House
1:00 – 1:40 p.m. – Breakout Session Three
1:50 – 2:30 p.m. – Counterparts Roundtable Discussion
2:30 p.m. – End of Day

REGISTRATION:

  1. Log in to My Tri-C Space -> Employee Tab -> Talent Engagement Center (TEC)
  2.  Search ADJ1015 in the Event Calendar or go to March 3 and select the event
  3. Click the blue ‘Request’ button at the top of the page

Adjunct faculty are eligible to receive 2 SEUs towards the Adjunct Stipend Program for attending the conference or 3 SEUs for presenting. Full-time faculty are eligible to receive to 2 Service Credits for attending or presenting.

MOBILE APP:

New this year! A mobile conference app to access the schedule, session information, and to post messages and photos. The app is very easy to download and will be used at future Tri-C faculty related events. Click here for full instructions.

Click here for interactive directions to the Western Campus. Park in lots B or C and enter to the Theatre. Registration and opening remarks will be held in the Theatre, located in the West Liberal Arts Building.

FOOD/BEVERAGE:

A continental breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m. in the Theatre lobby. Lunch will be held in the Gymnasium at noon and will include assorted boxed lunches with turkey, ham and vegetarian sandwiches.
