 Employee Giving Campaign

The Cuyahoga Community College employee giving campaigns are how, together, we make a difference for our students, our college and our community. There are three ways to give back to the College and the community: the Combined Campaign, Cuyahoga Community College Foundation, and Citizens for Cuyahoga Community College. There will be pledge forms available at Convocation. Click on the link below for more information for this year’s Employee Giving Campaign.

Safe Zone Ally Training Sessions: 2016-2017

safe zoneCuyahoga Community College cares about ending all forms of oppression. A Safe Zone is considered a space where everyone will be listened to and respected regardless of sexual orientation/gender identity or expression. The Safe Zone logo is a way to designate a “safe space,” whether on an office window, door, or on a button. People should feel comfortable in this open and affirming space to openly discuss LGBTQ/Ally (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, & Questioning) related issues. Participants will become aware of issues of concern to folks of all sexual orientations/gender identity & expressions, and become certified as Safe Zone Allies if they choose. Other interactive topics covered will be: review of LGBTQ research/data, awareness building activities, learning relevant resources, and exploring how to discuss related topics with others. Sign up via TEC and join the 400+ Certified Safe Zone Allies. Students who would like to attend may email Michelle.Nicopolis@tri-c.edu.
